Broadcast Tags
Feature
Introducing broadcast tags: a powerful new way to organize and analyze your content! As of today, you can categorize, filter, and gain deeper insights from your growing archive of broadcasts.
What can you do with tags?
- Organize broadcasts: Create custom color-coded tags to instantly identify different content types, campaigns, or audience segments at a glance.
- Filter with precision: Quickly surface exactly the broadcasts you need by combining tag filters with existing search options.
- Uncover performance patterns: Compare metrics across similarly tagged broadcasts to identify what truly resonates with specific audience segments.
Tagging broadcasts adds an entirely new dimension to how you analyze emails and decide what content to resend. This is just the beginning — expect to see new tools that will leverage these tags to extract even deeper insights from your email data. 📣 Referral Program
Feature
I've got exciting news: Broadcast Boost's brand-new Referral Program is live, and it's all about sharing the love (and scoring rewards while you're at it).
How It Works
- Share your unique link (requires an active membership)
- Your friend signs up using your link and they get an extended 30-day free trial
- When they make their first payment after the trial, you both win: they get awesome tools, and you get $25 in account credit
Many of you have already been sharing Broadcast Boost, and this is my way of saying thanks while helping more creators discover these tools.
For the full details, check out the referral program page.
Sharing is caring. But in this case, it's also $25.

Granular Broadcast Click Data
Feature
Understanding what resonates with your audience just got a whole lot easier. Starting today, you can access specific broadcast click data directly in Broadcast Boost, giving you a new dimension of insight into your campaign performance.
What's New?
You can now see how many clicks each individual link in your broadcast received – and where it's located in your email!
- Each link URL is listed alongside its stats, such as unique clicks, click to delivery rate, and click to open rate.
- Clicking a URL will highlight all occurrences of that link in your email content.
With these insights, you can quickly identify which parts of your email get the most engagement and tease out what kind of links draw your readers' eyes.
How to Access Click Data?
- Insights Page: Click the "View" button for deeper details.
- Calendar Tool: Select any calendar item to see performance metrics.
- Broadcast Table: Click "View Broadcast" for granular data.
This is just the beginning of integrating click data into Broadcast Boost – I'd love to hear how you're using this feature to improve your campaigns and how you'd like to harness individual link clicks in the future. Reach out to me via email to share your thoughts!

Filter Your Insights
Feature
The insights dashboard provides creators with quick access to what is working well across key metrics. However, for those with multiple marketing segments, these insights may become polluted as different audience types get lumped together.
To address this, I've added the ability to filter the results shown on the insights dashboard. You can now:
- Filter by number of recipients
- Exclude specific keywords from email subject lines
This gives you greater control to split out your segments and surface the true winners within each. Easily identify the campaigns that are resonating most with your core audience.

Export Your Broadcasts
Feature
You spoke, and I listened. The top request from a recent survey I sent out was the ability to export your broadcast data into a spreadsheet.
The broadcast data export tool is available today. From the broadcast table, you can now download your data into a spreadsheet, with all of your applied filters intact. Filter the results in Broadcast Boost and then export the results to dive deeper.
I love building tools that creators like you need. Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Content Calendar 📆
Feature
The holiday season has begun and the biggest holidays of the year are fast approaching. How am I as a content creator supposed to stay on top of my email marketing campaigns and create quality content all at the same time??
Enter the content calendar tool.
This feature transforms how you visualize and plan your email sends by showing your broadcasts in an easy-to-understand calendar display. Whether you're mapping out next week's emails or planning your entire holiday season, the calendar tool gives you a bird's-eye view of your content strategy.
Why You'll Love It
- New way to view your data: See your sent broadcasts laid out on a monthly or yearly view, seeing trends and patterns with send date and performance
- Broadcast recommendations: BB's new recommendation algorithm suggests broadcasts that you can reschedule for a selected date based on past performance and seasonality
- Easily plan future campaigns: This tool makes it incredibly easy to put together a plan of what content you want to send to your audience for the next week, month, or year
Getting started with the calendar tool is as simple as clicking the new Calendar tab in your dashboard. If you want a step-by-step guide on how to maximize your usage of this tool, check out the new Monthly Calendar Planning Guide in the Library.
I can't wait to see how you use this tool to streamline your content planning and boost your email performance 🚀

Upgraded Filters
Feature
Today's update brings a small but mighty change to your Broadcast Boost experience. I've expanded the filtering capabilities on the broadcast dashboard, giving you more control in viewing and understanding your content.
Key Improvements
- Exclude keywords: You can now filter out broadcasts containing specific keywords in subject lines, not just search for them.
- Streamlined date filtering: Easily filter by date using preset time periods.
- Additional filters: New options to filter by open rate, click rate, and unsubscribe rate.
Why This Matters
Many of you reached out asking for more robust filtering options. The request I received most frequently was to be able to filter out certain keywords instead of merely searching for broadcasts that contain a given search string. I'm confident that these enhancements will help you find reschedule-worthy broadcasts without sifting through tens or even hundreds of emails that don't meet your criteria.

Select an Email Template to Reschedule
Feature
Today's announcement is a quick one, but I think you'll find it a useful addition to rescheduling past broadcasts.
When selecting a subject line and send date for a broadcast you want to reschedule, you also can pick which of your email templates to use for the rescheduled email. No need to go into Kit and switch out the email template anymore, you can now do it right inside of Broadcast Boost!

Insights Page
Feature
Recently, I've been pondering how to make Broadcast Boost even easier to use. In answer to that question, I'm excited to reveal the new Insights Dashboard.
What is the Insights Dashboard?
Broadcast Boost's Insights Dashboard provides a means for creators who don't want to sift through hundreds (or thousands) of broadcasts to quickly learn from past successes and effortlessly reschedule their best-performing content.
How is it different from the broadcasts table?
While the broadcasts table offers a comprehensive, do-it-yourself list of all your broadcasts with powerful filtering and sorting capabilities, the Insights page provides a curated list of your top-performing broadcasts, key performance metrics at a glance, and seasonality trends to help you plan your content calendar.
My favorite feature is the ability to search by month across every broadcast you've ever sent. Looking for some killer Thanksgiving content from years past? Simply select November to view your top-performing emails grouped by different metrics.

Get Inspired at the Library 📚
Feature
Ever since the launch of Broadcast Boost, I've been inspired by the creative ways you're using the tool to save time, get seen more, and make more money. That's why I'm excited to introduce the Library, a collection of resources to help you make the most out of Broadcast Boost.
The library only features a single guide right now, but trust me – it's a good one. It comes curated by my friend Ali at Lil Luna who is an email marketing ninja.
If you have a unique way that you utilize Broadcast Boost alongside Kit, I'd love to feature you in the library! Send an email to cameron@broadcastboost.com. Or, if there are specific topics you'd like to see covered, feel free to reach out!

Click-to-Open Rate & Dynamic Performance Indicators
Feature
Click-to-Open Rate
Click rate has always been a key metric, but now you can dive even deeper with click-to-open rate. Here's a breakdown of the two:
- Click Rate: Measures the percentage of unique clickers relative to the total number of recipients.
- Click-to-Open Rate: Measures total clicks divided by the total number of opens, giving you deeper insights into how your email content performs with those who actually open your email.
This new metric helps you understand how well your content converts engaged readers into site visitors.
Dynamic Performance Indicators
Performance indicators are now dynamic! Previously, our top and bottom 10% performance metrics were based on all your email broadcasts. Now, these metrics will adjust based on any filters or search queries you apply.
For example, if you filter by emails containing the keyword "Christmas," the performance indicators will compare your broadcast metrics against the filtered set rather than your entire account. This makes it even easier to get specific, actionable insights for your targeted campaigns.
